ASHFORD ACADEMY of Music students took a stroll down the streets of Carrigstown as part of a day out at RTE's Montrose TV Studios.

The students were invited to attend the recording of a new RTE show called ' Sing', which is to air in the RTE Autumn schedule.

'Sing' is a new music game show hosted by Brian Ormonde and with panels' led by RTE's Emma O'Driscoll and Roy 7's Paul Walsh.

As well as taking part in the show and seeing how a TV programme is made, the students also got to visit the Fair City set and the fictional 'Carrigstown'.
